Chamber Choir

Anna has been part of Laudamus for two years now and sings Alto One in the Chamber Choir, takes sectionals during choir rehearsals and is part of the smaller ensemble group. She began her musical training at a very young age, taking Grade One Recorder aged five and swiftly moving on to study the piano. Throughout school and college she took part in choirs and instrumental ensembles, including going on tour to Paris and Barcelona in 2005. She also did a huge amount of performing through her involvement in drama both in and out of school. By 2006 Anna had achieved Grade Eight Piano and Grade Eight Musical Theatre amongst other Drama qualifications and she continued on to Lancaster University to read Theatre Studies. Since leaving University Anna has worked at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, run music workshops in nursery schools, taught Musical Theatre classes and now teaches Piano and Singing from her home in Chorley. Anna is currently awaiting the result of her Grade Five Flute exam and is planning to work towards her DipABRSM in Instrumental Teaching next year.
